SdKennel is a Microsoft Access database.
The yellow folder icon located to the right of or above a field brings up the code table maintenance form for that field where you can add or modify data as required.
In any text field, you can use SHIFT F2; otherwise known as ZOOM, which opens up a text box where you can see and enter more data than fits in the smaller form field. Many fields are set as memo fields which allow unlimited text to be entered.
When you hit SHIFT F2 a dialog presents the data and all the text is highlighted. This is a normal Windows navigation. Be aware however, that typing anything while a field is highlighted causes Windows to replace the entire text. So if you wish to edit or add text, first use the mouse to place the cursor. Another Windows technique is getting blank lines in a ZOOM dialog. Hold CTRL and then hit ENTER, that will give you a line feed. Do it again and you have a blank line.
One last thing you'll notice is that you cannot do a spell check while in ZOOM. Exit by OK and then you can spell check via the toolbar.
To navigate between records, you can use the VCR buttons along the bottom of the form or section of the form, or any other technique allowable in Microsoft Access.
